Underground Section Radio
CONSPEC’s Section Radio is a MSHA permissive underground stationary radio designed for the working face or section in an underground environment. The Section radio uses a Loop Antenna, which is tied to a wire such as a phone line or high voltage conductor, to send the audio signals throughout the underground site. Section Radio is normally powered using 110VAC input, but has an Intrinsically safe 12VDC battery for use in a power outage for up to 24 hours.
